Frequently Asked Questions
1.  Why did you become a missionary?
I have always been interested in helping those less fortunate than myself.  After seeing first hand the                   remarkable need for help that the orphaned children of Africa face, I believe that God has called me here to           be His servant.

2.  How did you come about founding an orphange in Africa?
A terrible incident occured recently where the local organizers of a support group for orphaned children in             sub-Sahara Africa abandoned their efforts.  Another missionary friend and I took on the responsibility of               reconstructing the care needed by the orphans.  We formed an orphanage to better facilitate their care.

3.  How many children are in your orphange?
The number changes frequently.  Currently there are 52 orphaned children in our care.  All of our orphans             have been diagnosed as HIV-positive or having AIDS.  1 out of 3 of these children will die within 10 years.

4. Does the African Government support your orphange efforts?
Although the African government does not support our efforts economically, we get great support from                 the African leaders.  Lines of communication have openned tremendously in the past year.  The continent             of Africa has over 60 million of its citizens with AIDS.  They recognize that we are a small, but important,             piece of the support effort.

5.  Why are the children of Africa dying at such an alarming rate?
There is an AIDS epidemic in Africa.  Effective long-term health programs are virtually non-existent.  In                  addition, large areas of Africa are war-torn where violence and death are a common occurrence.  The                    mortality rates are staggering.

6.  Why don't you get paid?
Most missionary groups rely on the financial support of donors and sponsors.  If you are so inclined,                    please see our Donations page.

7.  What is your donation money used for?
All donations received are used for the support of our missionaries and orphange.  Living quarters and                  general sustinence for myself and the orphans, including food and health care, are our biggest expense.

8.  Where did you get your training to become a missionary?
I completed the Discipleship Training School (DTS) affiliated with the Youth With A Mission (YWAM)
organization.  I took this training in Capetown, Republic of South Africa.  Right after, I continued my
full-time missionary work in sub-Sahara Africa.

9.  How important is spreading the Word of God in Africa?
There is a desperate need for preaching the Gospel to this continent. His powerful message of                            redemption and hope needs to resonate throughout their lives and bring lasting change to a broken nation,            their families, and their communities.

10.  Do you belong to any secular denomination?
We are inter-denominational. It is about relationship, not religion.

11.  I would like to help with a small donation.  Is this okay?
Oh my goodness, yes!  Because of the standard of living in Africa even the smallest amount of money
goes a long way.  $10 can help feed one of our orphans for a month.

12.  What do you do with the information that I enter into your website?

email notifications, donation processing and the like.  We will never give nor sell your information to

13.  I have seen you without shoes.  How come?
Ha! I usually could be found selling my shoes for train tickets in order to get to ministry.
